Welcome to Connecticut Adoption Services (CAS)! CAS provides complete adoption services to all residents of Connecticut.  Over the past 26 years, our services have expanded, as well as our staff, but we remain committed to providing very personalized, caring, professional services to all of our clients.

Connecticut Adoption Services (CAS)’s highly experienced staff helps adoptive families complete the entire adoption process. We counsel expectant parents who are considering adoption placement. CAS offers a wide range of services, including home studies for domestic infant adoption, state foster care adoption, identified adoption, and co- and step parent adoption. CAS belongs to a network of adoption agencies that place children in Connecticut and all throughout the U.S. We provide post-placement supervision and finalize adoptions. When clients enter our program, we welcome them to join our “adoption community”, which includes our on-line support group and family events.  On average, we provide services to 140 families each year.  We assist with the placement of approximately 40 children per year (30 private adoptions and 10 foster care adoptions). We are one of the many programs of Waterford Country School, Inc., a large community services organization. Our office is located in Norwich right near Backus Hospital (see our address/phone in “Contact  Us” below).
