The 16th Annual “Bring Your Mojo” Golf Tournament was a huge success! Each year, Waterford Country School (WCS) hosts this special event to raise funds that directly support the children and families we serve.

On September 17, 140 golfers gathered at the beautiful Great Neck Country Club in Waterford for a day filled with fun, friendship, and friendly competition. And what a day it was! Golfers enjoyed the beautiful course, exciting raffle prizes, and a delicious steak and lobster dinner following the tournament. This tournament broke all records for the biggest golf fundraiser to date! We are so grateful.

But the fun didn’t stop with the golf! Throughout the course, golfers had three special holes to visit, each offering its own unique brand of “Bring Your Mojo” fun.

At the 7th Hole, golfers participated in all kinds of merriment, enjoying shrimp and oyster shooters while trying their luck at a YETI raffle.

The 16th “Donkey” Hole featured fun games, raffles, and some seriously delicious meatballs. And at the 3rd Hole, golfers had the chance to meet some special guests—several of the animals from our farm joined us for the day and made a special appearance on the golf course!

With great food, games, raffles, animals, and plenty of laughs along the way, there was no shortage of fun to be had throughout the day.

This sold-out event is held each year in memory of Gary Saunders, a founding family member of WCS who passed away on January 27, 2011. Gary was deeply dedicated to the mission of Waterford Country School, and his commitment to our children and families continues to inspire this tournament. His life and legacy are at the heart of the event.

Since its inception, the “Bring Your Mojo” Golf Tournament has raised well over $1 million, with proceeds going directly toward supporting the programs and services that make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.

We could not do this without the incredible generosity of our golfers, donors, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters. Thank you for showing up, having fun, and helping us make a lasting difference!
