For 100 years, Waterford Country School has served children and families who are struggling. While the mission remains the same, we have evolved immensely over the years. Every time we bring people to tour our campus, they are shocked by all that we have happening on our 320 acres in rural Connecticut.

Otto Graham Gymnasium
Training room and conference center. Special events and community gatherings are held here when the gym is not in use by the students at the school.
Moorehead House
Moorehead House also known as “Main House” includes Food Services Department and the School Cafeteria, Medical Clinic, Maintenance Office, Business Office & Human Resources Office.
Bent House
Current home of the Therapeutic Boarding Program for boys. Parents and visitors are encouraged to park in the Bent parking lot and check in at the front door.
Children’s Farm & Nature Center
Outdoor Education Director offices and home base for all the farm education activities and animal rehabilitation work.
Camp Cuheca
Rose Lodge, Lions Pavilion, Climbing Tower, Disc Golf Course and Ropes Adventure Course as well ask lakes and trails
Residential Program Cottages
circle of cottages for residents of the long term residential treatment programs. Visitors may park in the available lot and check in at the Administrative Office in Cottage 2.
Anderson House

Rita’s House
Secondary school building for elective classes such as art, woodworking etc.
Quality Parenting Center
Family Visitation Center can be accessed via 947 Vauxhall St. Extension. Parking is in front of the building.
The School
Levine Education Building is home to grades K-12. Parking lot is to the right of the school or at the Otto Graham Gymnasium.

DIRECTIONS
From points south and north.
Take exit #77 from Interstate 395.
At bottom of ramp, proceed south on CT Rte 85 (toward Waterford and New London). Take a left at the first light (Douglas Lane). Take a left at the next stop sign (Vauxhall St. Ext.) Follow for approximately one-half mile to Hunts Brook Rd. Take a right on Hunts Brook Rd. and follow for approximately one quarter mile to our campus.
