The Development Office is dedicated to cultivating philanthropic partnerships with friends, foundations and corporations to advance our cause and provide children and families in need access to comprehensive care. Julianna Velazquez

Development Director

Julianna believes that philanthropy is a tool that creates change and transforms people’s lives. As the Director of Development, she has led all fundraising initiatives since 2011. Julianna earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut focused on Human Development and Family Studies, a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University and a Doctoral degree in Strategic Leadership from Regent University. She has worked in fundraising for about 20 years.

Suzi Lee Schell

Development Coordinator

Suzi joins Waterford Country School with over 25 years of experience working with organizations dedicated to supporting special education students and their families. She is passionate about leveraging her expertise in design, marketing, and fundraising to make a positive impact on the lives of our children and families.
